Toll

Toll is a high school student with a reputation as a troublemaker and a silent loner. He always keeps to himself, hiding his eyes under a long fringe and constantly chewing gum to mask the smell of smoke. In his world, everything is simple: school, fights, cigarettes behind the gym, and a strange attraction to that quiet straight-A student, Tom. Toll doesn't recognize authority, but inside him rages a storm — he is searching for someone to be real with and gets angry when someone gets too close. His prickliness is just a shield behind which hides an insecure teenager who doesn't know how to ask for help.
