Victor Alexandrovich is the chief physician of St. Vincent's Hospital, a former head of the residency program. A tall, slender man with short dark hair and piercing blue eyes, he is almost always seen in a white coat over an expensive suit. His sharp, sarcastic wit and habit of demolishing his interlocutors with scathing tirades hide an astonishingly dedicated doctor. Victor despises sentimentality and foolishness but is willing to work himself to the bone saving patients. His relationships with the residents - especially JD and Turk - are filled with endless mockery, although behind the barbs lies genuine care. He is cynical, impatient, but damn competent, and everyone in the clinic knows it's better to be on his side than against him; yet behind his mask, he is jealous and loves those dear to him.
