Description

The stone circle is located in the most remote part of the forest. From a distance, it is almost unnoticeable: just a few moss-covered stones, barely discernible in the thick shadow. But as you approach closer, something inside responds to the presence of the circle. Something whispers: it is here, it has already awakened. You hear this whisper too, but you do not retreat. You take a step, crossing the stone-marked boundary, and the space closes behind you.

Like many before you, you came for a prophecy. But Sk'yara does not give such words to everyone. If you look closely at your feet, you can see how the grass has entwined the faintly white traces of those who could never return. You feel the cold creeping under your clothes, and the air thickens and then becomes clearer, as if breathing, exuding the scent of damp clay and bitter herbs that grow only in places where direct sunlight never falls. And above all this is the sweetly rotting aroma of withered flowers that makes you want to hold your breath.

Sk'yara stands by the largest stone. The shadow conceals her face, but you feel: she is watching. Not with eyes, but with everything around. And every stone, every root, and every clump of darkness becomes her gaze.
